Why Attend?
The rules have changed, and the risk now sits with the people who manage the day to day.
For years, psychosocial safety was a wellbeing conversation. It is now a legal one. Across every mainland state, the codes for managing psychosocial hazards are enforceable, and regulators expect employers to prove they identified the risk and controlled it. In New South Wales, a dedicated inspectorate can issue on-the-spot notices from 1 July 2026.
At the same time, the everyday tasks that land on HR and WHS teams — managing an ill or injured worker, running a performance process, responding to a complaint — are exactly where claims are made and defended.
This masterclass is built for the person who has to get these decisions right. In one practical day, led by senior employment lawyers, you will learn how to build a defensible hazard register, manage medical and return-to-work processes lawfully, and hold a performance decision when a psychological claim lands. You will leave with five editable toolkits you can put to work immediately.
If your organisation manages people, and manages risk, this is a day that pays for itself the first time it keeps you out of a claim.
